Hi I’m Ni! I’m a professional hair braider based in New London, CT and owner of The Braid Hive.

With 7 years of experience, I specialize in stitch and knotless braids. My goal is to help clients feel confident, stylish, and completely at home in my chair.

Hi, my name is Cierra and I’m a licensed Nail Technician located in New London, CT, with over 5 years of experience.

I specialize in nail art, precise shaping, and creating clean, long-lasting sets.

My goal is to have every client leave my chair feeling refreshed, confident, and brand new. 

I am not currently taking new clients, but post my openings on my Instagram when they become available!

Amelie, Braider

Hi my name is Amelie, a professional African hair braider based in New London, Connecticut.

With over 9 years of experience, I specialize in box braids, knotless braids, cornrows and senegalese twists. My goal is to assure that every client is satisfied and happy before leaving the shop.

  • I don’t play about the Braid Hive!! I have been coming to this shop getting my hair done by Ni for 3 years now. About 8 months ago, I started getting my nails done by Cierra, as well, because every time I asked a cute girlie where she got her nails done, they would allllways say NailedbyCierra. When I finally looked her up and realized she was also at The Braid Hive, it was literally the best day of my life. Do yourself a favor and come to the Braid Hive!
